Does Your Deodorant Attract Insects?

Did you know that your choice of deodorant can affect how attractive you are to insects? If you’re using a regular perfumed deodorant it can work against your insect repellent. However, incognito Natural Crystal Deodorant has a fresh citrus fragrance that is attractive to humans but not to insects! Used in conjunction with incognito anti-mosquito roll-on or spray, it gives an unprecedented level of natural protection from biting and stinging insects.

incognito® incognito Natural Crystal Deodorant significantly reduces your attractiveness to all insects. Long lasting and non-sticky with a fresh, citrus fragrance, incognito citronella deodorant is the first alum crystal to be infused with an essential oil. Like all incognito products, it is made from all natural ingredients and smells great, without being attractive to insects.

Deodorants that are marketed as crystal deodorants usually contain potassium alum or ammonium alum. These are natural crystals and stones that are better for the body than their potentially toxic aluminium counterparts (such as aluminium chlorohydrate which is used in many anti-perspirants). Thailand, Mexico and the Far East have used crystal deodorants for many years.

Nina comments, “I have been concerned about using deodorant/anti-persperants that contain aluminium, and other minerals and chemicals. I bought this by chance and having used it for two weeks thus far I am very impressed.”

incognito Natural Crystal Deodorant contains 100% natural ingredients, is completely free of any DEET, and contains no aluminium chlorohydrate. It is not tested or derived from any animal – being tested on humans not animals – and is registered with The Vegan Society. It is suitable for all the family.

Lizzie comments, "I used it for 10 weeks while in Central America but the crystal has worn very little. Feel like this will last for ages and allowed me to avoid using my usual deodorant which is fragranced (and attractive to insects!!) Would highly recommend."

incognito has recently won the Janey Loves Platinum Award for the fifth year running from Janey Lee Grace, and has also received the following awards: The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Sustainable Development, Ethical Award from The Ethical Company Organisation, P.E.A. Award: Travel & Tourism and Treading Lightly Waitrose awards.

incognito® Natural Crystal Deodorant retails at £4.19 and is available from Holland & Barrett, Ocado, Harrods, Duchy of Cornwall Nurseries, independent health stores and lessmosquito.com.
