New Addition to HayMax Family Arrives
A new addition to the HayMax family is arriving this April. This organic drug-free allergen balm for hay fever sufferers is designed especially for children, and is suitable for use from birth. With its eye-catching superhero characters – The HayMax Kids – and proven effectiveness, it looks set to be popular with both children and parents.
More children than adults suffer from hay fever; around 30% of all children in the UK suffer from the allergy, compared to 20% of adults.
HayMax Kids is 100% drug-free and natural, and its ingredients have been selected to be suitable for babies from birth, toddlers, children and teenagers. It is Soil Association certified organic, vegetarian and has never been tested on animals. The balm is non-drowsy so will not affect children’s performance at school or in their important exams.
Inventor, Max Wiseberg explains the reasons for the launch of new HayMax Kids. “We have been listening to parents and children for a decade, and we know that children love HayMax. However one question which keeps popping up from parents is ‘Is it suitable for kids?’ To make HayMax instantly recognisable to parents as suitable for children of all ages, we created HayMax Kids; it’s eye-catching, friendly and reassuring for parents.”
Together with the launch, there will be a special HayMax Kids page for children to join in the fun on the HayMax website, located at www.haymax.biz/HayMaxKids
HayMax Kids was developed by Max Wiseberg, a hayfever sufferer since childhood, to help stop the cause of hay fever symptoms – namely, pollen – from getting into the body. Max is also a hay fever and airborne allergens expert, appearing regularly in the press and magazines, and on radio and TV.
HayMax is a family of organic drug-free allergen barrier balm that help trap pollen, dust and pet allergens. When applied around the base of the nostrils (and around the bones of the eyes if your hay fever affects your eyes), it forms an invisible barrier that traps pollen and dust and pet allergens before they enter the body. As long as this is enough to keep the sufferer below their sensitivity level, their symptoms won’t be triggered.
Studies on HayMax show that the balm works and that it traps pollen, dust and pet allergens. In a 2015 study by leading allergy charity Allergy UK, 80% of respondents said that overall HayMax worked [1]. And a 2012 study by the National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit concluded that HayMax over one third of pollen grains before they enter the body, as well as dust and pet allergens [2].
New HayMax Kids organic drug-free allergen barrier balms will be available from April 2016 and will retail at £6.99 per pot. They will be available from Holland & Barrett; selected Boots; independent chemists, pharmacists and health stores; on 01525 406600 and from haymax.biz.

About HayMax™
HayMax has undergone four independent trials and studies, which have proven its effectiveness. In 2009, independent research from The National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit (NPARU) by Professor Jean Emberlin found that HayMax resulted in a “reduction to the amount of allergen entering the nose” [3]. Then in 2012, a further NPARU study concluded that HayMax trapped dust and pet allergens as well as pollen [2]. In July 2014, results of a survey by leading allergy charity, Allergy UK showed that almost eight out of ten respondents said that the balm helped some or all of their hayfever symptoms [4]. And in a further 2015 study by Allergy UK, 80% of respondents said that HayMax worked well [1].
HayMax has won over 40 awards including Winner of Health and Beauty Category in highly prestigious Soil Association Awards 2014. It has been talked about by ITV’s Dr Chris Steele MBE on This Morning four times!
HayMax is a family company with a strong ethical bias: Their cartons are FSC approved, the trays are made from PET and they source locally reducing miles travelled. Where possible HayMax save paper, recycle and save cardboard and re-use. They also try to order in larger quantities to reduce the number of deliveries made (and road miles covered) on their behalf.
