The Organic Way for Allergy Sufferers
It’s Organic September, and the Soil Association are asking everyone to ‘organic your September’. That’s easy if you’re talking about your Sunday Lunch, but what if you want to switch to organic products for your health – especially if you’re suffering with the seasonal sniffles resulting from pet and dust allergies? As we start to spend more time indoors in September, there’s more of a chance of developing allergies from pet dander and dust mite droppings. However, organic help is at hand in the form of HayMax – a Soil Association certified allergen barrier balm that helps block those unwanted seasonal allergens...
Max Wiseberg, inventor of HayMax, comments, “We buy organic produce where we can because then we know what we’re putting into our own bodies and more importantly, our children’s bodies. We know its good stuff. But also, we know that organic means that it includes fair trade and nicer to the animals, including top class husbandry. So it’s not just about being good to your body, you’re also being good to the earth and good to animals and good to the producers.
I thought it was a good thing – in the same way that you cook a dinner and use the best ingredients, you get the best results – if you use the best organic ingredients in HayMax you get the best product.”
HayMax is an eco-friendly pollen barrier balm that uses only certified organic ingredients. All HayMax products are certified organic by The Soil Association and approved by the Vegetarian Society. HayMax has never been tested on animals.
HayMax has been proven to be effective in trapping dust and pet allergens. According to the National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit study, “HayMax has the capability to trap indoor and outdoor airborne allergens and particles”. [1]
Allergies affect around one in four of the UK population, and the number of sufferers is increasing by 5% every year. House dust and pets can cause nasty symptoms like nasal congestion, wheezing, sneezing and runny eyes. House dust mites live everywhere in our homes, residing mainly in our beds, meaning that we can be inhaling large quantities of dust mite allergens on a daily basis.
HayMax organic drug-free allergen barrier balms retail at £6.99 per pot and are available from Holland & Barrett; selected Morrisons, Waitrose and Boots; independent chemists, pharmacists and health stores; on 01525 406600 and from haymax.biz.

About HayMax™
HayMax™ is not a cure for airborne allergies, but traps allergens before they enter the body. Each person can tolerate a certain amount of dust or pet allergen without reaction – their ‘trigger’ level – below which they suffer no effects, but above that an allergic reaction occurs. And as long as HayMax™ keeps the sufferer below their trigger level, they will have no allergic reaction.
HayMax™ products have gained no less than 44 awards, including winner in the ‘Health and Beauty’ category of the prestigious 2014 Soil Association Organic Awards and are approved by AllergyUK.
The creators of the allergen barrier balm, HayMax Limited, have developed a comprehensive guide to managing your allergies, at haymax.biz.
HayMax™ is proud to be an official corporate partner of Allergy UK, the leading national charity providing support, advice and information for those with allergies and food intolerances.triggered.
